To open Preferences Window go to Edit Menu>Preference>Guides, Grid, Slides… and click on that option. |

Under "Grid" section of the Preference Window change the "Gridline every" to 33.3 percent, "Subdivisions" to 1 and click and finally click on "OK". |

Under View Menu click on Show>Grid. |

4. |
To turn on and off the grid view, click on "Extras" from View Menu (Shortcut Keys Command+H or PC - Ctrl+H). |

Keeping Free Transform Image Proportional

When using the “Free Transform” command (Shortcut Keys Command+T or PC - Ctrl+T) hold down the Shift Key while dragging a corner of the “Free Transform” rectangle to keep the Image Proportional. |
