Noon to 3pm The inaugural Cocoa Beach Air Show will feature over 3 hours of military and civilian performers taking place over the ocean front from Noon to 3 pm on October 3-4. Military performers committed already include the U.S. Navy F-18 Hornet Demo Team, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the U.S. Air Force Reserve 920th Rescue Wing. Cost: free from the beach, or VIP center seat tickets may be purchased, $12-18/day.

Every fall Brevard County Parks and Recreation hosts the Old Florida Festival in Erna Nixon Park, 1200 Evans Road in Melbourne. This year the festival will be even bigger with featured live music, great southern food, arts & crafts, and just a great good ole time |

First Annual Cocoa Village Octoberfest. Brevard Night Life will present the 1st Annual Cocoa Village Oktoberfest in Downtown Cocoa Village from October 23 - 25. There will be midway rides and games, street vendors, live music, authentic German cuisine and of course... a Beer Garden! Tickets for the street party are on sale at Savings Safari, 3670 N. US Rt 1 in Cocoa.

Farmers Markets: These markets can offer some interesting photo ops of all types. Colorful fruits, vegetables, people, and the unusual may be found at the various markets in the county. You can find them in Eau Gallie on Saturday mornings, Cocoa Beach City Hall Sunday mornings, Wednesday mornings in Cocoa Village by the gazebo, Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm in Titusville at US 1 and Broad Streets |
