Steven Maklansky, President of the Brevard Art Museum is taking us on an artistic photographic journey through time. Steven will present to the club a relational interpretation of photographic history starting near photography’s beginning in 1843 up to around 1970. This is a fantastic opportunity to see how photography has developed over time as a true art form. Steven’s program will help members evolve a photography “style” by disciplining their eyes see photography subjects as “Art”. To phrase this differently, you will see some amazing photographs and see how they intertwine as an art form during the evolution of photography.
Steven will also have a book for sale that contains all of the photographs you will see during the program. The photographs will be supplemented with information detailing its place in history.
